I've pretty much figured out that the BX22 meets all my needs, but I'm not locked into Kubota brand. To get a backhoe, it seems you have to go too big for me in a Deere. Are there any other manufacturers I should be looking at? Thanks for your input!

The only things I have found to compete with the BX22 is another Kubota, B7500 T/L/B at $4-5000 more (with less horsepower) and Kioti 1914 T/L/B which is closer price wise but may not be available in your area.
The smaller New Hollands are also available with backhoes, but list out well over $20K ....

I would check the new Kioti CK20. It's about the only other tractor I would consider in that class if you want a BH.

Great advice guys! I compared the bx22 to the ck20 and lb1914, and it looks like the ck20 wins. It can handle more weight on the 3 pt hitch and the lb1914 doesn't come with a mid pto. Price wise, the ck20 seems comparable to the bx22. Any comments on the reliabiltyservice you get from Kioti? ....

The CK is a brand new model with the first HST Kioti has sent to the US, so balance that into your equation. ....
